Patrick O’Brien has held various senior positions in the payments and telecommunications industry in the UK and Australia working with Alcatel and Keycorp where he most recently held the position of Regional Sales Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

In Australia he established payment businesses in the equipment selling, card solutions and switching systems markets. He has consulted to major banks on market and product strategies as well as establishing local and international distribution markets.

Patrick was one of the creators of one of the ubiquitous Commonwealth Bank Comm2000 Eftpos terminal as well as the Vodafone Australia smart card. He holds a degree in Engineering from the University of Limerick, Ireland.

Joe has been an outstanding player in the payment industry having pioneered some of the first payments over GSM and GPRS in the Australian market as well as implementing EMV solutions for clients in Europe.

Joe is a leader in EMV, IP and wireless systems and has worked across the globe as well as in Australia on payment systems. He carries an Honours degree in Mathematics and Computing from the University of Sheffield and has previously worked for Keycorp, Telectronics and British Aerospace.
